United Nations

The United Nations, or just the UN, is a global organization created to help with cooperation between Countryballs. He has 193 current members. He was established in October 24th, 1945 to replace the League of Nations after World War II to prevent another war, like World War III. At his founding, the number of his members was just 51, this number began to steadily grow as more nations began to be recognized by the United Nations. Not all nations on earth are members of him, a few are observer states. he is also asleep allot

History

After World War I, the world's nations formed the League of Nations, the United Nations's predecessor. The LN was created to let countries peacefully talk their differences. The Central Powers of WWI (ex:Germany and Japan) ignored the LN, as they liked to use war to solve problems, not just peacefully talk them out. Members did not want to go to war, but World War II started anyway, causing the LN to fail and later, fall apart.

The allies of World War II called themselves the “United Nations” as they were united against the Axis Powers. After the war, after some signing, the United Nations was formed. He was officially created in October 1945, being first thought of in April of that year in San Francisco. Somalia is the only nation modeled after him (the UN).
