Poland is the main character and mascot of the Countryball universe and a country in Europe. According to Countryball lore, Poland cannot “into space,” which is a reference to the fact that Poland can't go to space at all. The fact that Poland's flag is upside down on a Poland Countryball is intentional, as it is a joke in the Countryball community, starting when the creator of Countryballs, Falco, created the first Countryball comics.[1]

Poland was once a puppet of the 
Soviet Union before June 4th, 1989, when the Communists chose to step down due to protesting, and Poland formed a democratic government. The economy may have slowed down, but an economic boom in 1995 saved Poland's economy.
He also joined the Visegràd Group in 1991, then joined 
NATO in 1999. Due to the president of the USA not letting him in, he blackmailed his way into NATO.
In 2004, Poland voted to join the 
EU, and in 2007, Poland joined the Schengen Area, allowing other EU member states into it, and Poland is very pro-western.
In 2022, Ukraine fires an air missles on Poland.
